Magistrate Court - May 1, 2008.
Karen Doss, of Hillsboro, appeared before Magistrate Danith Miller on April 23 and entered a plea of guilty to petit larceny. She was fined $200, assessed $160.50 in court costs, and ordered to pay $20 in restitution.
Two hearings were held in Magistrate Miller’s court on the 24th.
David L. Varner, of Marlinton, was found guilty of domestic assault. He was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $100 with $160.50 in court costs.
A preliminary hearing was held for Jeffrey A. Teter, of Marlinton, for a charge of manufacturing a controlled substance. Probable cause was found and Teter was bound over to the Circuit Court.
William J. Roy, of Marlinton, appeared in court on Monday on a charge of DUI. He was released on $1000 bond.
