Does anyone know of a good sealer for grout? I have tried a couple of things from Lowe's, but they don't seem to work too well because I still have to rescrub it within a month or so and reapply the sealer.
This is such a tedious process, any suggestions?

There are many sealers on the market today, and I haven't found one I like yet. Depending on the look you want you may try in a small area polyurethane. I never sealed any of my own tile and I like it better like this, but I have used polyurethane on customesr tile with success. Of corse you cover the whole floor, and use 3 to 5 coats. It gives the floor a shine as well and that was not what I was looking for in my own home. Its too late now but in the dealer rep magazines I get some have mixed the sealer in with the grout and they claim it does well. I haven't experimented with this method personaly. Good luck.

I don't really want my tile to be shiny. I just don't want the dang grout to get so grimey looking. I went to Lowe's again today, and a guy working there said I should not use things like pinesol to mop the floor with, and he suckered me into buying a cleaner for ceramic tile. I bought a different sealer this time too. Now I just have to find the time to scrubs the grout and reseal it. <sigh>

Or baking soda and a toothbrush. I usually mix in a little OxyClean with it.

Well the guy from lowes knows a little something, you shouldn't use any cleaner that is colored on ceramic or hardwood. Something like tilex works pretty good. If its still available you can use a poor on expoxy in a satin or gloss finish, it will go on thick and self levels making for easy care. It was expensive though last time I did a floor it was brick and took more than normal but it cost about $500.00 just for materials.

Could just get some of that roll on bed liner and forget about it.
